1. Affiliate links

Amazon Associates disclosure: Commercial Smoker Guide is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. If you follow an affiliate link and buy on Amazon, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.

Amazon buttons are labeled "View on Amazon" or "View Amazon Offer". Manufacturer and dealer links, including Alto-Shaam, Cookshack and Pro Smoker, are separate non-affiliate links.

2. Using the guides and calculators

Our guides, rack-space formulas, hanging-space calculations, grease-volume estimates and electrical calculators are for information and equipment comparison only.

Local approval: Local municipal health inspectors, commercial building plan review boards, fire marshals, and licensed master electricians possess sole legal authority over equipment permits, ventilation hood exemptions, grease trap sizing, and electrical branch circuit installations.

We do not guarantee that a model will pass local plan review without site-specific drawings and approval from your local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ).

3. Product information can change

Manufacturers can change models, electrical ratings, accessories and listings without notice. We check manufacturer data sheets, manuals and NRTL directories, but you should still:

Verify physical unit data plates and NRTL control numbers upon delivery before signing freight bills of lading.
Review official manufacturer manuals regarding commercial warranty inclusions and indoor exhaust hood requirements.
Confirm current retail pricing, availability, and return freight policies directly with the seller before purchase.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Commercial Smoker Guide, its editors, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our guides, calculators, or linked equipment products. This includes, without limitation, commercial downtime, lost food inventory, electrical utility damages, or denied municipal permits.

5. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
